The beauty of the fell scenery in a central location along the trails of Äkäslompolo. This apartment offers beautiful views of Yllästunturi. You can watch the soothing landscape directly from the living room or on your own terrace. The location is excellent and it is also suitable if you travel without a car. Until 2021, the historic Riemuliiteri dance venue and cafe was located on this site. The villagers and tourists used to gather here to enjoy the best views and central location along the routes.
Äkäsriemu was built in 2022, so the facilities are modern and stylish. The kitchen has equipment and appliances that meet today's requirements for easy cooking. This apartment has two bedrooms on one level. There is a sauna and a bathroom with laundry facilities. In addition, there are two toilets. You can store small sports equipment, such as skis, in the outdoor storage room. Ski and bike maintenance facilities are offered by the condominium. The service building has a ski waxing rack and iron for skiers. In the yard there is a car heating pole.
A lighted ski trail as well as hiking and biking trails start straight from the backyard. The nearest restaurant is within 10 minutes walking distance and Äkäslompolo center can be reached in 15 minutes by crossing the lake in the winter time. Public transport connections are also good. 300 m away there is a bus stop for SkiBus and buses to the airport and the train station. The distance to the nearest beach is 700 m and the bird tower can be reached in 200 meters.
