Lapland fishing opportunities are breathtaking. There are fishing possibilities for everyone, both in the winter and in the summer. The Muonio River is the mainstream in Tornio-Muonio river, this river is a real “hotspot” for fishing wild salmon, sea trout, grayling and European whitefish. There are about 90 kilometers to reach the river from Levi, from Ylläs there are only 40 kilometers to the river.

The Tornio-Muonio River, which falls from the northern fells to the Gulf of Bothnia, is Europe’s longest free flowing salmon river. Its length is about 450 kilometers and in some places, the river can change from a 100 meter wide rapid to even a one-kilometer wide stream pool. Tornio-Muonio River is the border river between Finland and Sweden. In addition to salmon, there are sea trout and grayling in the river.
