Ice Villa Kuru

A luxurious villa in a great setting near the slopes of Ylläs in Ylläsjärvi. This newly built cabin accommodates 8 people. A beautiful forest landscape opens out from the large windows of the living room. The bright, spacious kitchen is fully equipped and has high-quality crockery and efficient appliances for cooking. The three bedrooms have good beds and lots of storage space for your belongings. The high-quality sofa bed in the living room has a sleeping comfort at a level of a real bed.

The utility room has a 9 kg washing machine, tumble dryer and drying cabinet, so even a large group's laundry can be done here easily. The utility room offers a nice and peaceful spot for remote workers. While working on your laptop you can admire the forest landscape from the window.

Outside, shared with the neighboring cabin is a charming wood-heated log sauna, hand-carved in Lapland. You won't find similar yard saunas in rental cabins in Ylläs. This is a wonderful and unique opportunity to enjoy the gentle heat of this traditional Lappish sauna. The sauna is available free of charge for rentals between 15.5.-31.10. In winter season 1.11.-14.5. the yard sauna can be rented for a fee of 140 €. The sauna shift is every other day during the day, every other day in the evening. There is a warm storage room outside with space for ski maintenance and sports equipment storage. For electric cars there is a Walle16M charging station which can be used for a charging fee. In summer, the terrace invites you to enjoy the peace of nature. There is an open fireplace outside, where you can e.g. prepare coffee or flamed salmon or grill and smoke meat.
