Tunturin Kimallus

Surrounded by beautiful nature, Tunturin Kimallus “The Sparkle of the Fell” is located in the Kaulavaara region near the village of Äkäslompolo. Ski trails to the atmospheric Velhon kota cafe as well as snowmobile trails run nearby. The distance to the ski trail as the crow flies is approx. 200 m, along the snowmobile trail 300 m, and along the street approx. 850 m. There are 6+3 beds in the cottage. On the ground floor, there are two separate bedrooms and on the loft a bedroom with a double bed and a children's cot. The upstairs bedroom is divided from the lounge area by a curtain. The sofa bed in the loft serves as a spare bed, where two people can sleep if necessary.

The kitchen has plenty of space and it’s fully equipped for you to prepare meals. In the spacious living room, it's nice to spend an evening by the fireplace or by the TV. The upper floor also has its own lounge area with a TV. The star lights on the ceiling create a nice atmosphere for dark evenings.

For children there is a cot, a high chair and a potty. Remote workers can use the screen and the keyboard - and admire the beautiful forest scenery while working. Tunturin Kimallus is a dog-friendly cabin. Other animals are prohibited due to allergies. Outside, connected with the carport, there is a separate storage building for storing sports equipment. In the summer, there is a small campfire on the property and Kamado charcoal grill at your disposal. Charging electric car is allowed using the outdoor power socket using your own charging cable.
