This charming and rustic log house offers a comfortable base for your stay in Ylläs. Inside the thick log walls you can feel cozy and warm. The villa is located at the end of a tranquil street in Ylläsjärvi. Here, you'll enjoy your own peace and quiet, surrounded by nature, close to an extensive outdoor trail network. Illuminated ski tracks and biking/hiking trails start near the cottage. Ylläs Ski Resort is only 1.5 km away, where you'll find not only slopes but also some restaurants, shops and a spa.

There are beds for 7 people. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed. Upstairs, there is a separate bedroom (without a door) with a double bed and at the end of the hallway, a sleeping area with beds for three people. Upstairs, there is also a separate toilet. Safety gates are installed at the top and bottom of the stairs.

Mearka exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a strong emphasis on natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Upon entering the cottage, one is greeted by the imposing stone fireplace, the heart of the home. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area has a large table capable of hosting larger gatherings. Adjacent to the spacious foyer is a sitting area where you can admire the surrounding nature or enjoy the TV entertainment. The wood-heated sauna provides a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation after a day outside. In the outside storage, there is a ski waxing stand and ample space for storing sports equipment.
