Menninkäinen

A well-equipped, cozy semi-detached log house in a central location in Äkäslompolo, near lighted ski trails. You can easily get to the slopes from the SkiBus stop 400 meters away. Menninkäinen is a great option for active vacationers or families with children. It offers plenty of space for the storage and maintenance of sports equipment, as well as a wide selection of sports equipment and baby gear. The specialty of this cabin is a barbeque hut, a large yard swing and a boat!

Menninkäinen has four separate bedrooms with a total of 10 beds. Two of the bedrooms are located on the middle floor. The upstairs bedrooms have three beds each. Each of the three floors has its own toilet. The kitchen is well equipped and is connected to the living room. An atmospheric fireplace brings warmth to the evenings. The living room has direct access to the terrace, where you can cool off after the sauna. The sauna and shower facilities can be found on the middle floor. For remote working, the cottage has several workstations and a fast internet connection.

In the warm and spacious basement, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying cabinet for laundry days. The basement has plenty of space for ski storage and maintenance, as well as an area for fitness or stretching. There are bluetooth speakers in the basement and high-quality Sonos WiFi speakers in the living room.

Menninkäinen's amenities are one of a kind. There is a wide selection of sports equipment, e.g. children's and adults' bicycles and helmets, kick sleds, baby carrier, snowshoes, a trailer for a bicycle and a sled at your disposal. For children, there is a highchair, two travel beds and strollers. Pets are welcome. EV charging from the socket, please bring your own charging cable.

Outside, shared with the neighboring apartment, there is a cozy barbeque hut, where you can find all necessary equipment for an atmospheric evening by the fire. Summer travelers can enjoy the yard swing or go boating to Lake Kesänkijärvi. This cottage has something for everyone!
